A famous Australian poet Dorothea Mackellar once described our continent as one of "drought and flooding rains"... and ain't that the truth!
There's been an unprecedented amount of water dumped on our land in recent weeks and many are suffering. As Homoeopaths we would describe it as a surge of Sycosis (the miasm associated with growth) so, hopefully the re-growth stage will be positive.
It's fortuitous, then, that I'd already decided, weeks ago, to concentrate on Sycosis in this Newsletter by presenting a DD of Lyssin/Lac-c/Lac-lup. In many ways they are similar medicines but do have unique differences; be open to the fact that a Lyssin case may move through Lac-c or Lac-lup on the way to cure.
Cure is an interesting word with many nuances; and I'm coming to perceive that the watery disaster that is unfolding around us (and I'm not speaking of Australia alone as many continents have been affected by floods in the past few years) is possibly a manifestation of Mother Nature attempting to effect a cure of sorts on Humanity.
Those of us who have the ability to dream lucidly know that reality can be shaped by dreams and so, the rubric DREAMS: floods, streets in: lac-h (it is the only remedy in that rubric!) is of monumental significance.
People who know me well know that it is my belief that Lac Humanum is the Universal Remedy. As mammals we demonstrate a continuous propensity to live our lives completely out of step with Nature and the balance between what we give to Self as opposed to the Group, becomes unequal at times.
With everyone mucking in (pardon the pun) currently here in Brisbane to help those in our neighbourhood who've lost everything, it's lovely to see such community focus.
