Milk Matters July 2009
Dear Colleague
This Newsletter is devoted to Lac cases and lactation problems; and for this edition I've focused on the latter as breastfeeding research and breastfeeding issues have been high on my personal and professional agenda these past few months.
Apart from the fact that my daughter has just given birth to her first child (so I'm very much in grandmother mode as I help her get her lactation established ), in May I had the unique opportunity to be part of a Faculty of 30 speakers from all around the world presenting at the 2009 GOLD conference... www.gold09.net
This Global On-line Lactation Discussion is a unique event that enables hundreds of people from all around the world to participate, in the comfort of their own homes, in an international conference delivered entirely in cyber-space. My presentation: An Alternative Approach to Lactation Management is available as a download in the Conference Papers section of my website.
There is a passing reference to White Spot in the handout and this edition of the Newsletter gives an example of a case study of this confounded and painful condition.
Welcome to the new subscribers especially those lactation consultants who have, since the GOLD conference, come to consider the place that homoeopathic prescribing has in their list of referrals in those situations which do not respond to usual lactation management protocols.
I hope that you find what I have to share both interesting and beneficial.
Best wishes
